Customize Form Display
Corporate Taxprep allows you to customize the form display in two ways: by changing the zoom of the form display area and by modifying the colours that are used in the form display.
How to zoom
To change the zoom, proceed as follows:
- On the status bar, click the Zoom slider.
- Slide to the percentage zoom setting that you want.
This change applies to all forms.
How to change colours used in the form display
The colours used for the following items may be modified:
- The background colour for the form: by default Corporate Taxprep uses two colours: one colour for forms in returns, and a second colour for forms used to manage preparer profile templates and rate table templates.
- Input cells colour: by default, Corporate Taxprep displays the value in black and the background of the cell in white.
- Overridden cells colour: by default, Corporate Taxprep displays the value in black and the background of the cell in pink.
- Cells with possible override colour: by default, Corporate Taxprep displays the value in black and the background of the cell in grey.
- Rolled forward cells colour: by default, Corporate Taxprep displays the value in blue and the background of the cell in white.
- Cells with data entered last year: by default, Corporate Taxprep displays the value in black and the background in yellow.

Cells with data downloaded from the CRA: by default, Corporate Taxprep displays the value in black and the background of the cell in green.

Cells with data downloaded and then modified: by default, Corporate Taxprep displays the value in black and the background of the cell in purple.
To customize the colours of one or more of the above items, proceed as follows:
- On the Tools menu, click Options and Settings.
- Under Options, click Colours.
- Click the tab for the form type (return or template) with the colours you want to modify.
- In the Item list, click the item to be modified.
- In the Backgroundbox, click the colour
that you want to use for the background.
In the Text box, click the colour that you want to use to display text or cell values.
Click Reset All to restore Corporate Taxprep's default colours. - Click OK.
